While the cinema premiere of The Force Awakens coming ever closer to the wheels start even harder running the first of the standalone Star Wars spinoffs, which plug the holes between the new trilogy. Maslani is in turn announced a series of sci-fi shows, including Orphan Black, so they will probably have no trouble handling a lightsaber or baster.
