Sri Lanka’s versatile renowned cricketer Mahela Jayawardena has authorized an agreement to play in
the forthcoming England’s county cricket T/20 Sussex big bash cricket tournament.

In that tournament he had signed to play for the English county Sussex in the initial seven matches. Mahela Jayawardena after signing the agreement had commented that Sussex is a very strong side in contentment for honours. It is pertinent to mention that he and his close friend Kumar Sangakkara both have not been auctioned at this year’s Indian Premier League T/20 tournament.
